  Sandy Hook Fluke Fishing
This fishing trip is for all anglers, novice to seasoned vet,and nothing beats a nice day on the water drifting for the Summer Flounder (Fluke). Raritan Bay is the home of this great Jersey fishing staple.
From the shallow waters of the back bay to the deep channels, we are a 20 minute run from the dock to most Raritan Bay Fluke spots....and if it isn,t happening in the bay, we have a ton of great spots right around the corner of Sandy Hook. This is a perfect trip to take the family or introduce your youngster to the world of salt water fishing!

 On Feb 24th 2010, Capt. Carl and Matt Murphy of Wet Dreams Sportfishing / Highlands Fishing Charters headed south to Washington D.C. to join 3,000 other Sportfishing and Commercial Captains, Deckhands and Recreational Anglers to do our part in the fight against N.M.F.S AND N.O.A.A's restrictive regulations and unfair closures of fishing of fishing stocks based on bad data.
It was an absolute pleasure on our part to be a part of this special day in the fight to save our fisheries for our customers , ourselves and of course our children!!!!!!!
The turn out was awesome and we had a long list of Senators speaking on behalf of us....the fisherman....and we are highly supported in our cause to add flexibility to the Magneson-Stevens Act to allow for a fairness in our already restrictive regulations.
I would like to thank all the Senators for taking the time to speak with us and thank all the event coordinators for putting this together for us.
Lastly, i would like to thank all the fisherman who showed up to show their support and let their voices be heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Raritan Bay Spring Striper Trips
Fortunately with our Highlands Fishing Charter, we are lucky enough to experience a great fishery up North. Every spring Raritan Bay loads up with adult bunker and right on their tails are some very hungry Raritan Bay Striped Bass!!!!! These fish vary in size but it is not uncommon to see
multiple 20-30lb fish on one trip. We primarily anchor up using clams on these trips but if we have a body of fish down from Sandy Hook, get your arms ready to tangle with the top rated game fish in New Jersey using some live baits!!!!! |
